Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is perfectly situated in the French Quarter, within walking distance to the Stanley restaurant and right on the Mississippi river. The rooms offer a great balcony overlooking the Blacksmith Shoo bar and are nicely appointed, but a tad pricey. The service, including room service, housekeeping, welcome drink, and tours/ticket assistance, is top-notch. However, the dining experience with fine bread could use some improvement. Overall, the location is excellent, the facilities are well-maintained, and the value for money is decent.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel with a great balcony overlooking the Blacksmith Shoo bar. The rooms are comfortable and the balcony adds a nice touch, but there are some minor drawbacks. The service was excellent with room service, housekeeping, a welcome drink, and tours/ticket assistance available. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the Stanley restaurant and is close to most everything in the French Quarter while maintaining a quiet setting. The dining experience offered organic products, though there were some room for improvement. The facilities were well-maintained, providing a pleasant stay.
I had an amazing time at the hotel, with a room that had a fantastic balcony overlooking the Blacksmith Shoo bar and close proximity to various attractions in the French Quarter. The service was top-notch, and the dining experience with homemade Belgian waffles was a highlight. However, the facilities were a bit lacking, and the price could have been better for the value provided.
